SMJY Tech ("we", "us") takes your privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy explains how the Snap Pack application (the "App") collects, uses, and protects your personal information.
Core Principle: Local First
The App is designed with a "local first" principle. Your inventory data is stored only on your device, and the App never transmits it to any server. The AI cutout feature is processed entirely on-device — your photos are never uploaded to any server.

1. Your inventory data (photos, names, tags, weights, values, etc.) is stored only on your device and is never uploaded to any server. 2. The App has no account sign-in and does not collect your email address or other personal contact information. 3. The App integrates no crash-reporting or usage-analytics services and sends no telemetry to us or any third party.
2. How We Use Information
The App does not collect your inventory data or personal information; all processing happens on your device: 1. Providing and maintaining the App's core features; 2. Complying with mandatory legal requirements. We do not sell, rent, or trade your information.
3. Permissions
The App requires the following permissions to provide full functionality. All require your active authorization and can be revoked at any time in system settings: 1. Camera: To photograph items and scan QR codes; 2. Photo Library: To select photos for import. Revoking permissions does not affect stored data.
4. Third-Party Services
The App contains no sign-in or cloud sync features. The only third-party touchpoints are: in-app purchases (processed by the Apple App Store / Google Play under their respective privacy policies), the in-app web view showing this privacy policy and the terms of use, and the on-device segmentation model downloaded on demand by Google Play services the first time AI cutout is used on Android. Your photos and inventory data are never transmitted to us or to any of these services.
5. Information Protection
1. Local data is protected by your device's own security mechanisms (such as passcode and biometric authentication). 2. The App never transmits your inventory data over the network, so there is no in-transit exposure. 3. We recommend using the in-app export feature regularly to back up your inventory to your own storage.
6. Your Rights
1. You can delete items or containers in the App at any time, or delete all local data by uninstalling the App. 2. You can export a backup at any time and restore it on the same or another device. 3. You may refuse or revoke any of the App's permissions at any time.
7. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updated policies will be posted on this page with the effective date noted. For significant changes, we will notify you in the App or through other reasonable means.
