Inside Ride Trace
Real screens: the live ride, a finished route replay, per-kilometer splits and the weekly momentum board.

From start button to keepable poster
Everything a ride produces, turned into something you'll actually look at again
Live ride, huge numerals
Speed in giant digits with a pace bar, plus distance, time, heart rate, cadence and calories in vivid color blocks — readable at a glance from the saddle.
Routes that draw themselves
While you ride, your route grows on a stylized map. Every finished ride lands in Tracks with its own drawn line, ready to replay.
Per-kilometer splits
Each kilometer gets its own card, and your fastest one wears the BEST badge. Climb, top speed and calories complete the summary.
Gear that greets you
Pair a watch, a heart-rate strap and a cadence sensor — battery and connection status at a glance.
Weekly momentum
A lime hero block shows this week against your goal, a 7-day chart keeps the rhythm visible, and streak stickers celebrate the habit.
Speaks 50 languages
The interface ships in about 50 languages and follows your system language — including right-to-left scripts.
Your rides never leave your phone
Rides, routes and stats are stored only on your device — there is no account, no server and no ad SDK. Export everything as CSV or JSON any time; your data is never held hostage.
To keep the app healthy, Ride Trace sends crash reports to Sentry when something breaks — typically a stack trace, device model, OS and app version. Crash reports contain no ride content and are not linked to your identity.
On-device storage
The whole ride history lives in a local database on this device.
Yours to take away
CSV export, plus JSON backup and restore — free for everyone, always.
Only the permission it needs
Location is used while you ride, never in the background. Decline and the simulator still lets you explore.
Before you install
The things people check before installing a cycling app
What is Ride Trace?
A poster-style cycling log. It records your rides with GPS — live speed, pace, route, heart rate and cadence — and turns each one into a bold, keepable summary with per-kilometer splits.
Where do my rides go?
Nowhere. Rides are stored on your device only. No account, no cloud, no ads. You can export any ride as CSV, or back everything up as JSON.
What data do you collect?
Crash reports only, via Sentry — stack trace, device model, OS and app version when something breaks. No ride content, no identity, no advertising ID, no analytics profiles.
How much does it cost?
The full core loop is free: recording, live ride, summaries, track replays, stats, achievements and CSV export. Ride Trace Pro — watch rides, poster family, yearly calendar, GPX import/export and maintenance log — unlocks with a subscription or a one-time purchase.
Is there a watch app?
Yes — an Apple Watch companion on iOS and a Wear OS companion on Android. Start, pause and finish rides from your wrist, with heart rate mirrored back.
Does my phone support it?
Any iPhone or Android phone with GPS. Heart rate straps and cadence sensors connect over Bluetooth; a watch companion is optional, not required.
