These terms apply to your use of the RentPilot app developed by Shoumeng Jiaye. By using RentPilot you agree to them.

1. The service
RentPilot is a rental bookkeeping tool for landlords, subletting operators and property managers, provided as is and continuously evolving; features may change as the app improves.
2. Not professional advice
RentPilot is a bookkeeping tool. It does not constitute legal, tax or investment advice. Consult qualified professionals for leases, taxes and disputes.
3. No account system
RentPilot requires no sign-up. Records are stored only on your device, and backups are your responsibility — the app includes a full CSV export.
4. Data and backups
Your data lives only on your device. Before changing or losing a device, back up with CSV export; we cannot recover any data for you.
5. Fair use
Use RentPilot only for lawful personal or business purposes; do not reverse-engineer or redistribute the app.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Shoumeng Jiaye is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the app and makes no warranty of fitness for any particular purpose.
