DualCam — Terms of Service

By using the DualCam mobile application ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to any of them, please do not use the App.

1. The service and your licence
DualCam is a camera application that runs the front and rear lenses of your device in one live viewfinder, composites them into photos and videos, and saves the results to your device's system gallery. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the App on devices you own or control, solely for personal, lawful purposes.
2. Acceptable use
You are responsible for what you photograph and record, and for complying with the law and other people's rights (including portrait and privacy rights). Do not use the App to capture anyone without their consent, in prohibited places, or while driving or in any situation where operating a camera is unsafe. Do not misuse, reverse-engineer or attempt to disrupt the App.
3. Purchases
The App is free to download and use. An optional one-time, non-consumable purchase removes the watermark from photos and videos. Purchases are billed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play); prices are shown at the moment of purchase. If you reinstall the App or switch devices, you can restore the purchase with the same store account. Refunds are handled under the store's refund policy.
4. Your content
Photos and videos you capture belong to you. The App has no library of its own and no server, so we do not host, review or have access to your media.
5. Intellectual property
The App itself, including its name, design and code, is owned by SMJY Tech and protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to use our trademarks or to copy or redistribute the App beyond the personal licence in section 1.
6. Disclaimer
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. Camera capabilities vary by device; dual-lens framing requires hardware that supports running both cameras at once, and the App will tell you honestly when your device cannot. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted or error-free.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SMJY Tech is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for lost photos or videos (for example, when saving to the gallery fails or storage is full).
8. Changes to the App and to these Terms
We may update, modify or discontinue features of the App, and we may revise these Terms from time to time. The "Effective date" above reflects the latest version. Continued use of the App after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
9. Contact and governing terms
For installs from Apple's App Store, Apple's standard End User Licence Agreement (EULA) applies where applicable; for installs from Google Play, the Google Play Terms of Service apply.
