Cook Today — Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (the "Terms") govern your use of the Cook Today mobile application ("Cook Today" or the "App") provided by SMJY Tech ("we" or "us"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. License to use the App
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to download, install and use the App on a device that you own or control, for your own personal, non-commercial use.
2. The service
Cook Today is a fully offline weekly meal planner. It generates a personalised meal plan from a short questionnaire, shows recipes and nutrition information, and builds an aisle-sorted shopping list with price estimates at common supermarkets. The recipes, prices and nutrition figures are provided for informational purposes only and may contain errors.
3. Subscriptions and payments
Cook Today is offered with a free tier and optional Premium subscriptions. Premium is available as a monthly subscription, a yearly subscription, or a one-time lifetime purchase. The prices shown in the App are displayed in your local currency by Apple's App Store. Monthly and yearly subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Your Apple ID / App Store account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period, at the same price and for the same duration. You can manage or cancel your subscriptions, and turn off auto-renewal, at any time in your Apple ID settings (Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions) or in the App Store. A lifetime purchase is charged once and does not renew. All payments are processed by Apple through the App Store; we do not receive or store your payment information, and Apple's terms for in-app purchases apply.
5. Your responsibilities
You agree to use the App lawfully and not to misuse, reverse-engineer, redistribute or attempt to disrupt it. You are responsible for the accuracy of any dietary, allergy or health information you enter, and for verifying that the recipes and ingredients are safe and suitable for you. The App is not a substitute for professional medical or nutritional advice.
6. Intellectual property
The App, its name, its design and the recipe and content catalogue are owned by SMJY Tech and protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to use our trademarks or to copy or redistribute the App's content beyond the personal licence in section 1.
7. Disclaimer of warranties
The App is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express or implied, including any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the recipes, nutrition data or price estimates are accurate, complete or up to date.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event shall SMJY Tech be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising out of or in connection with your use of the App. Because the App is provided free of charge for its core functionality, our aggregate liability is limited to the amount, if any, you have paid us for the App in the preceding twelve months.
9. Changes to the App and to these Terms
We may update, modify or discontinue features of the App, and we may revise these Terms from time to time. The "Effective date" above reflects the latest version of the Terms. Continued use of the App after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
10. Contact and governing terms
