A cream base, pastel category colors, rounded cards and story rings — one macaron palette runs through home, insights and assets. Pretty, with zero learning curve: one thing per screen, nothing to study.
One entry, no detours
Type → keypad → category grid → save. Snap or pick a receipt and on-device recognition prefills the amount and category; notifications, recurring bills and duplicating last entry each have their own fast path.
Browse a month like a feed
Balance card, category story ring and day-grouped card flow — reviewing feels like scrolling a feed. Favorites, tags, batch actions, trash and a streak counter are all there.
See where money goes
Category breakdown, calendar, 30-day trend, monthly bars, cashflow forecast, tag ranking and a data health check; monthly and yearly recaps turn your ledger into story cards.
Budgets, reminders & goals
Monthly budgets per ledger and per category, with warnings before you overspend; subscription charges and card dues get reminders too. Savings goals with FIRE progress and a badge wall keep you going.

Your ledger belongs to you. Offline means offline.
What you earn and spend is among the most personal data there is. Meily needs no account and never asks for personal data — entries, accounts, budgets, receipts and settings live entirely on your device, and everything works in airplane mode.
We operate no server for your content. The only data the app ever sends is an anonymous crash report when the app crashes — stack traces, device and OS info only, never any ledger content, never linked to you. Optional Premium is billed by the app stores; we never see your payment details.
Local only
Everything lives in the device's local storage; uninstalling erases it completely. An optional app lock (Face ID / device passcode) adds one more door.
No ads, no tracking
No ad SDKs, no advertising identifiers. We do not sell or share any data.
Backup & export are yours
Backups are ZIP files and exports are CSV; where they go is decided by your share sheet.
FAQ
What does “macaron style” mean?
A cream base, soft pastel category colors, rounded cards and story rings — the interface is themed after the gentle palette of French macarons. Beyond the looks, every screen keeps to one thing at a time; there is nothing to learn.
Does it need internet?
No. Meily is fully offline — no account, no backend. Recording, insights, budgets and backups all work in airplane mode. The only network request is a crash report if the app crashes, which contains no ledger content.
Where is my data stored?
Only in the app's local database on your device. You can back up to a ZIP file (receipts included) or export CSV anytime; deleting the app erases everything permanently.
What languages are supported?
The interface ships in 19 languages (Simplified/Traditional Chinese, English, Japanese, Korean, German, French, Spanish, Russian and more). It follows your system by default and can be switched anytime in the app.
Is it free?
The free tier is free forever: recording, insights, budgets, 1 ledger and 3 accounts. Premium unlocks unlimited ledgers and accounts via a monthly/yearly subscription or a one-time lifetime purchase, billed through your app store and cancellable anytime in your store account settings.
Do you collect my data?
No personal data: no account, no ads, no tracking. The only data leaving the device is an anonymous crash report with technical info only — no ledger content, not linked to you.
How do I move to a new phone?
Export a backup file (ZIP, receipts included) on the old device, move it to the new one and use Restore. Entries, budgets and settings all come back.
