Wear Today Privacy Policy
Effective date: November 2, 2026
Wear Today is a dressing-decision app: it turns weather into a clear answer — what to wear today and whether to bring an umbrella. This policy explains what data the app handles. The short version: almost none of it leaves your device.
Core principle
We collect almost nothing. · No accounts, no sign-up, no server backend · No analytics or ads — only anonymous crash reports (Sentry) when the app crashes · Your city and preferences live only in an on-device database
1. Data stored on your device
Your saved cities, cold tolerance, commute times, reminder settings and packing lists are stored only in an on-device database. Uninstalling the app deletes all of them.
2. Weather lookups (the only network use)
To build your outfit advice, the app queries Open-Meteo (open-meteo.com) for forecasts, air quality and city search. Requests carry coordinates and nothing else — no identifiers, no account, no location history. Open-Meteo's own privacy policy applies to their handling of requests.
3. Crash reports
If the app crashes, an anonymous report (stack trace, device model, OS and app version, time) may be sent to Sentry. Reports contain nothing you type and are not linked to your identity.
4. Purchases
Subscriptions and the lifetime unlock are processed entirely by Apple or Google. We receive only a local confirmation on your device to unlock Pro features. We never see your payment details.
5. No selling, no ads, no tracking
We do not sell, share or monetize data. There are no ads and no third-party trackers. Questions: tzhh0617@gmail.com.
