DualCam — Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how SMJY Tech ("we", "us") handles information in the DualCam mobile application ("the App"). The App is built to keep your photos and videos on your device, and this page describes the few exceptions in plain language.
Your photos and videos never leave your device
DualCam runs the front and rear cameras in one viewfinder and composites them entirely on your device. Finished photos and videos are saved straight to your device's system gallery through the operating system's own gallery interface — the App has no library of its own and no server that could receive your media. There is no account and no sign-up.

1. Who is responsible for your data
The data controller responsible for your information in the App is SMJY Tech. If you have any question about this Privacy Policy or your data, you can contact us at tzhh0617@gmail.com.
2. Information we collect
Photos and videos. Your captures are written directly to your device's system gallery. We never receive copies and cannot access them. Local data (stored only on your device). The App stores your settings (layout, watermark, grid and similar preferences) and your premium unlock state in the device's local storage. This data is never sent to us. Anonymous usage statistics. To understand which features are useful and to improve the App, we use Firebase Analytics to collect anonymous, aggregated usage events — for example, that the premium page was opened or that a purchase flow started — together with a pseudonymous app-instance identifier that Firebase assigns to the installation. This information is statistical only: it is not linked to your identity, does not include personal identifiers, and never includes the content of your photos or videos. Purchases. The optional one-time purchase that removes the watermark is processed entirely by the store you installed the App from — Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We do not collect, store or process your payment card details or your store account details.
3. Permissions and network access
Camera — required for the viewfinder, photos and video. Microphone — optional; only needed to include sound in videos, and you can decline without affecting photo shooting. Photos / Storage — used to save finished media into your system gallery. The App uses network access for two purposes only: sending the anonymous analytics described above, and displaying legal pages like this one inside the App. Your photos and videos are never uploaded anywhere — they are only written to your device's gallery.
4. Third-party services
Analytics: Firebase Analytics, operated by Google. You can read how Google handles this data in Google's Privacy Policy (policies.google.com/privacy). Saving uses your operating system's gallery interface; purchases use your store's payment system. The App contains no advertising SDKs.
5. Data retention
Your photos, videos and settings stay on your device until you delete them or uninstall the App. Analytics events are stored by Google in aggregated, pseudonymous form under Google's retention policies and are not linked to your identity.
6. Your rights and choices
Because your media and settings never leave your device, you control them directly: the gallery app, the device's permission settings and uninstalling the App remove everything. For the anonymous analytics, you can contact us at tzhh0617@gmail.com with any question, and the app-instance identifier rotates when you reinstall the App.
7. Children's privacy
The App does not ask anyone for personal data, including children under 13, and does not contain content directed at children.
8. Changes to this policy
If future versions of the App change how information is handled in a material way, we will update this page and the "Effective date" above before the change reaches the app stores.
