Pillary — Privacy Policy
Effective date: November 2, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how SMJY Tech ("we", "us") handles information in the Pillary mobile application ("the App"). Short version: the App is fully offline — no account, no ads, no tracking. Your family's medicine cabinet, schedules and dose logs stay on your device and never leave it. The only data we ever receive is an anonymous crash report if the App crashes.
Your family's data never leaves the device
Pillary does not require an account and does not ask you for personal data. Medicines, family members, dose schedules, adherence history and app settings are stored locally on your device and are never sent to us or to any server. We operate no server for user content, so we could not read your data even if we wanted to. If you back up your data, the backup file is created on your device and shared only through the system share sheet — by you, to a destination you choose.

1. Who is responsible
SMJY Tech is the developer of the App and the contact point for anything related to this policy. If you have questions about privacy or this policy, write to us at tzhh0617@gmail.com.
2. Information we handle
Local data (stored only on your device). The App stores your medicine cabinet (names, forms, quantities, expiry dates), family member profiles (a name and a color you choose), dose schedules, dose records and in-app settings in the device's local storage. This data is never transmitted to us or to any server. Crash reports. If the App crashes, it sends an anonymous crash report to Sentry, a crash-reporting service — typically the stack trace, device model, OS version, app version and the time of the crash. This report is technical and statistical only and is not linked to your identity. Purchases. If you choose to buy Pillary Pro, the purchase is processed entirely by Apple App Store or Google Play. We never receive your payment details; the App stores only a local, non-identifying record of the purchase so it can unlock features offline. No other data. The App contains no advertising, no analytics and no tracking.
3. Device permissions
Notifications (optional). If you turn on dose reminders, the App schedules local notifications on your device. These are generated on-device; we do not receive any information about them. Photos (optional). If you attach a photo to a medicine, the photo is stored in the App's local storage only. It is never uploaded anywhere. You can revoke either permission at any time in your device settings.
4. Children's information
Pillary is a family tool: parents and caregivers may enter family members' names to organize medicines. Because all data stays on your device, we never receive anyone's information, including children's. Profiles are not sent anywhere and can be deleted at any time inside the App.
6. Retention and deletion
Your data lives only on your device. Deleting the App (or using the in-app delete actions) removes it permanently. Uninstalling the App also removes the local backup files the App created. Crash reports on Sentry's servers are retained according to Sentry's standard retention policy and cannot be linked back to you.
7. Security
Because your data never leaves the device, the security of your information is primarily governed by your device's own protections (device encryption, OS sandboxing). We additionally avoid any network transfer of user data by design.
8. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update it on this page and change the effective date above. Material changes will also be reflected in the App's release notes.
